SPECIALIST TRAINING ASSIGNMENTS
Specialist training assignments have been selected for OPERATORS listed below. Specialist training will encompass new skills, equipment, and mod knowledge in order to master your specialty. Mission designers and command elements count on Specialists not only to know what they are doing but become a master of their own limitations and abilities in order to build missions that exploit those skills and command fire teams when those skills need to be deployed. Specialist training requires an attention to detail on the systems that dictate the specialty. For example a "Special Weapons" specialist is required to know about things like barrel over heating and replacement, FCS, and fly by wire launcers, just to name a few. Specialists will learn skills that Operators are not required to know.
Specialists will also need to follow a couple of rules. These rules are in place to both keep training focused and missions organized by operator skill set.
[111S] KROSSIN : DEMOLITIONIST / ENGINEER
[111S] SHRIKE : PILOT
[111S] FROST : HEAVY WEAPONS
[111S] STEF : TBD
1. Do not share the training you aquire about a specialty with those that are not a specialist in that field. We do this to make specialties mean something. Failure to abide by this rule will cause you to lose your specialty rank completely. And you will need to wait 60 days to requalify. Please take that as us being serious about this rule. We don't mind you talking about what your doing and being excited about the role. But giving others the training being imparted to you will result in the above reprimand. Giving away all knowledge on what your training does two negative things. It negates the fact that you are specialized since you have now imparted that knowledge to others. And it creates an environment where others feel the need to know everything yet become a master of none.
2. Do not treat your ability and access to certain weapons, vehicles, or mods above as a free pass to do whatever you want. We want the Specialist rank to be one of "special access". For example a Pilot holds the rest of the teams life in his hands when flying a transport helo or dropping a bomb. An Special Weapons specialist may use an AT and has to consider things like backblast that CAN KILL those behind you. The specialist roles are special because they can affect the ENTIRE team. So we want those weapons and platforms to be used with care and control. With great power comes great responsibility. Faireure to abide by this rule will get you a verbal warning. If you accure 3 verbal warnings you will be removed from your Specialist rank and reduced back down to Operator. You will then need to requalify to regain your Specialist ranking IF its still available.
Congrats on your road to SPECIALIST
